Being part of the challenge means that you pay £20 per man* to the winner (*not discriminatory we just don't have women). Each player has ten Vincoins (VC) each week to bet. Stakes are taken away from winnings, and bets are recorded on the website. The player with the most points after ten weeks is the winner.
Challenge finishes on the Sunday night at midnight British time of the tenth week. Any bets that finish after then are considered losers. Antepost bets can be placed as long as they finish before the deadline.
No cash outs allowed. Non-runners that return the stake mean you get the VC back to bet with again (only in the same week). Any bet that is a winner that returned free bets does not count as a VC winner.
No exchange bets are accepted for the challenge. Only traditional betting websites. If required, you must prove that your bet won. Timestamps of bets to be considered in validity of bets. All bets must be posted to the group at the time of placement.
Double points weeks means there is a week where you get 20 (twenty) VC for that week. It is predetermined before the first bet of a competition is placed and needs more than 50% of participants to agree on it.
If a member of the royal family dies and Premier League football is postponed, then the challenge is postponed until it resumes.
Mistakes on the website (e.g., new week or bet entered wrong) are considered to be genuine mistakes and not malicious. The person responsible must make sure the mistake is rectified in a timely manner.
Every participant acts with integrity and respects the rules. They do not try to gain an unfair advantage from something that does not act with integrity.
No bet copying. Bets with duplicate selections are allowed. Copying a bet and adding in a 'banker' with the rest of someone else's selections is considered to act against rule 7 (acting with integrity).
Payment to the winner must be made within 7 (seven) days of the final day or a 50% late fee is added. Every other subsequent 7 days late is an additional 50%.
Any sweepstakes that take place within the group are to be organised independent to the VC challenge. However, it should be done with integrity.
